“ Tons of food, not a whole lot of money. I'm not sure their furnace was working as it was quite cold in the shop, but the food's wonderful. The single waitress was horribly overworked but was still mostly very pleasant. I had the chicken soup, mashed potatoes, broccoli and rice casserole, and a huge slab of tilapia. Plus fresh hot cornbread, moist and sweet and salty and wonderful. ”
“ Me and my bf eat there every weekend for breakfast. We have our own special booth in Mildred’s section. We absolutely LOVE her and all the staff too. The food is delicious made to order and the staff never lets your coffee get down below a half cup. Mildred is the sweetest sassiest lady you would ever want to meet! We love her so much. Thank you for being the hi lite of our weekend mornings! ”
“ We came in for a quick breakfast. The food was simple but delicious. I ate the western omelet with hashbrowns and a chicken biscuit on the side. This is a good location if you're staying at a local airport hotel in the area. ”
“ Sat Jan 11, 2025 The food was delicious! I had shredded BBQ chicken, a side of cheddar broccoli rice, coleslaw and pineapple pudding, for the price of 10.99 and sweet tea with lemon. The portions were generous. My husband had the tilapia fish with chicken soup, cheddar broccoli rice and mashed potatoes with gravy. We had cornbread. They were warm and soft. Since the portions were generous I brought half home. The waitress was friendy but shevwas all alone. I definitely recommend this place. The only negative though was that it was cold. ”
“ Great breakfast, great service! Came back after moving away from Georgia - their breakfast country fried steak, corn hash, hash browns, grits, and biscuits reminded me of home. Delicious! Will be coming back for lunch. ”
“ What a great restaurant. The food is fabulous. Everything is delicious. Very consistent and the price is very affordable. I will continue going here and I have been telling all my friends about it too. A ”
“ If I could leave 10 stars reviews I would We had an airport weather delay so we lost a connection and by accident had to spend the night across the street from this place. Everything was so amazing it made that delay worth it!! I saved it in my Google maps so that I would gladly return anytime. You cannot get it wrong if you stop by! Grab a bite and enjoy the wonderful human touch of the great service this family-owned business has. Ms. Jasmine was amazingly kind. A ray of sunshine. She also provides you with great advice according to your needs and preferences. She works hard and can also sing to the great tunes the background music being played has. The food was delivered to the table so fast! The portions are abundant and I wish I had a second stomach to continue enjoying everything my family chose today. I had that small chicken that was finger licking good. Thank you so much for feeding us today. We will be back ”
“ Hidden gem if you ask me. They've been here since 1958 and I love that it doesn't seem like to have changed much. Still feels family oriented. I had the bbq pork, cabbage, squash, and pineapple pudding. The veggies were absolutely cooked to perfection and very well seasoned. The black pepper flavor on the squash gets a chef's kiss!. The pork was good, it did have a smoked flavor that's almost impossible to find in Atlanta. It could use more BBQ seasoning in my opinion, but I would get it again. I look for pork that's delicious without sauce and though this isn't it, I will for sure be back. The service was the best I've had in a very long time and the best in Atlanta, ever. ”
